Did you know that there's a microorganism in the soil that triggers the release of serotonin, soil is literally a natural antidepressant. Let us introduce ourselves, I’m Siera, my husband Joe, our two daughters Ella and Ana and we are the Courtney's. We want to share our why....
As a young girl my grandmother took every opportunity to share her love of gardening. My grandfather was a goat farmer w
ho showed me my love for animals. We spent a multitude of time gardening together from flowers to vegetables. Those values to this day resound in my soul. My husband Joe well let me just let him tell you his story. "The love of farming goes back to all the time I spent in the to***co fields as a young boy. Side by side with my papaw and dad who I learned everything from when it comes to working and preparing ground, sowing beds, and all the way to harvest and market. I was around 15 or 16 when we gave up to***co farming, but I now get to use all of those tools and knowledge I learned then to pass on to our flower operations. Not only that, but i get to pass that love and knowledge on to our children." These values are so important to us that we took a leap of faith and decided to start a flower farm. We had no idea what was to come, the joy it would bring our family or to the people who visited us. So much love and support from our community and their stories they entrusted in us. Our children were getting front row seats to those values we wanted them to have, from planting a seed all the way to giving that gift they grew with their bare hands. This view was utterly breathtaking. Flower farming is more than dirt and plants. It's the place you can lose yourself from time as it shares the joy and beauty of your surroundings. It gives happiness and comfort in those of desperate need of this, maybe even those who don’t know they need it. It's truly the gift that keeps on giving. Forms of payment accepted are Cash and Card.
