Holy hail net Batman! A few years ago we started putting up anti-hail netting to protect the trees from hail. We recently covered these trees. The hail net also reduces insect pressure to reduce pesticide sprays. We also sell nets to other orchards so they can protect their crops also.

What a beautiful crisp morning. We are at the Bloomington farmers market until 1 o’clock today. We still have lots of great apples, pies, and apple cider.
