Just want to say I appreciate the job Jeff County highway department and TDOT road crews have done with the roads in my area this week! I have seen Raymond Wolfenbarger make several passes up the Ridge with the blade down and the salt slinging. I’ve lived here long enough to realize there will still be some icy spots in the shaded areas with temperatures as cold as we have experienced this week, but overall they have it in shape for us to be able to move around. We don’t get it often but this is why most of us around here own at least one 4wd. If you didn’t have an estate auction to sell off papaws farm and tractors he worked his tail off for, you might be able to scrape your own driveway and road as needed. All I can say is if you build a house high on the hill, stock up on supplies when the weather man warns you and be ready to enjoy life at home for a while! We have too many running their mouths rather than running shovels these days!

Anyone looking for a whole beef? If you can pick it up from the processor in Dandridge tomorrow around 4 give me a call and I will cut you a deal! Processor needs the freezer space and the guy that ordered it seems to have suddenly disappeared! Filet & NY strip, ribeyes, cube steak, ground beef, no roasts except the brisket. 865-368-7432
