We’ve been quiet around here lately… on purpose. We’ve been soaking up these last few weeks of ☀️ summer with our kids.

If you’ve stopped by the farmstand recently, you met some other faces running things for us. We’re so grateful to have family and friends who are willing to jump in and help keep things moving while we take a little time for ours.

We’re still here, still farming, still working behind the scenes—and we’ll be back to sharing more of what’s happening around Burall Farms soon!

📢 Weather Update 🌧️

As farmers, we are fully aware that we cannot control the weather—no matter how much we wish we could! We apologize to anyone who was planning to join us today, but the storms in the forecast are concerning and safety comes first.

Unfortunately, Tito’s will NOT be serving BBQ today. However, Burall's Farmstand will still be OPEN! 🌩 Since Tito’s won’t be joining us, we’re adjusting our hours back to our typical 2–5 PM today.

Come stock up on homegrown meats and farm goodies, then get home before the skies decide to put on a show! ⛈️ Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support our farm!

Some people fall asleep to white noise. We fall asleep to livestock guardian 🐕 dog surveillance reports.

Tonight's edition started with both dogs echoing that deep, serious bark that says, "Excuse me... there's a coyote out here making poor life choices." I can rest well knowing that my livestock are protected though.

Tomorrow they'll both be accepting payment in dog food, belly rubs, and a Burall Farms beef bone.

Funny how peace on a farm isn't complete silence—it's hearing those barks, knowing everything is exactly as it should be, and then hearing the coyotes decide they'd rather be somewhere else!

Keeping our crops healthy all season long. When the corn is too tall for our machine, we hire the drone! This drone applied a fungicide to keep the crop 🌱 stress down mitigating disease on the corn plants, so we can do our best to have a 🌽 healthy, abundant harvest and good feed for our animals. #
