We don't always have time to cook from scratch and that's OK. Chef Jason the Healthy Homestead Personal Chef has from-scratch locally sourced meals he'll deliver to your door! We're thankful he includes Burall Farms in his menu's!

We wait all winter 🌬 for days like today.

Winter's cold winds, frozen buckets, muddy boots, and short daylight hours makes a day like this feel like a reward. There's no place we'd rather be than outside working on the farm.

We're grateful for the sunshine, the fresh air, and the opportunity to do what we love. ☀️

And here’s the proof we survived live TV. 📺

Truly though, what an incredible experience getting to represent Burall Farms and share our passion for raising quality meats right here in Maryland. From lamb and goat to beef and pork, it means a lot to bring a little bit of farm life into people’s homes — and onto their screens.

We’re more comfortable on a tractor or a pasture than under studio lights, but we had a great time and are thankful for the opportunity. Huge thank you to everyone who watched, shared, commented, and supported us along the way.

Now… back to chores. 🌾

“Well… one minute you’re feeding livestock in chore boots, and the next you’re trying not to stare at the TV 📺 camera while talking about homegrown steaks on live television. 😂

We had an absolute blast sharing a little piece of Burall Farms on FOX5 today with Kristen from the MDA Maryland's Best program! From farm life to the dinner table, it’s always an honor to talk about the meats we work so hard to raise — even if live TV means smiling while your heart races a little faster than normal.

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at the farmstand reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to 🛒 shop the farmstand, grab a bite to eat, or simply spend some time. Seeing the conversations happening and families enjoying the afternoon is what makes it all worthwhile. We truly hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

This weekend always feels like a marker in the seasons — spring giving way to summer, the farm 🌱 getting busier, and the community coming together again around local food and good company. It also brings a certain sentimentality with Memorial Day, reminding us to pause and be thankful for the men and women who sacrificed so we’re able to enjoy simple days like these with family, friends, and community.

We’re grateful for all of it. . . 🇺🇸 all have some, but some gave all ❤️
