I ended up staying at instead of inside the FQ at the other two places I was considering because I was worried I would not be able to get my car back to parking before they closed down the streets for parades.
It was a fairly good stay. We’ve stayed here in the past so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. I booked a king, and for my first time ever traveling solo, truly was excited and looking forward to sprawling out in a giant bed all by myself without a kid or dog in sight, but was placed in a double. They told my I could change rooms the next day, but I said I would be busy the entirety of the next day. That was pretty much the end of the conversation. I didn’t push it any further and they didn’t offer anything more to make up for it. The valet and bell services were top tier. Every single person encountered was upbeat and kind. I ordered room service departure morning, it was impossible to connect with anyone to request anymore items than what was provided at delivery. They did extend my checkout time so I could enjoy the morning and room services without being rushed, very much appreciated.
Overall a fairly pleasant pick for my king cake festival trip.
