💧95% chance of rain? Mother Nature has spoken, y’all. ☔️

As much as we need a good New Orleans rain shower, this forecast is bringing a little more rain and wind than our tents can handle. So, with the safety of our vendors, visitors, and community in mind, we’re calling it.

🌧️ The 10/3 Freret Market is canceled due to inclement weather.

But don’t worry, we’ll be back! 🎉 Mark your calendars on Saturday, October 31 for a special Halloween edition of the Freret Street Festival!!

Until then, stay dry, protect your wigs, glitter, and gumbo, and we’ll see y’all soon! 🎃🖤🧡

✨ VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Martin Spark Press ✨

Meet Louisiana-born printmaker Jane Martin, where Southern storytelling meets the art of printmaking! ❤️

Jane creates bold, hand-carved linocut artwork inspired by place, food, process, and personal connection. Using a reduction technique, she carves away more of the block with each layer of color, slowly building each image into a one-of-a-kind work of art.

✨ Come meet Jane and take a closer look at the incredible craftsmanship behind every print at the Freret Street Market!
