Lawless first discovered when his girlfriend would leave local kombucha in the fridge. During this time, he began a practice of meditation with healing being a main priority, and drinking Kombucha became a form of personal cleansing. Lawless started as a creative and therapeutic hobby turned into a business during summer 2020 while enduring a global pandemic - home and laid off from work, he took the time to explore flavor profiles, created a logo, a packaging label, and hosted pop up shops at farmers markets throughout for over 2 years. He felt like it was the right time to start Jun Magnolia during the global pandemic because we all need a little hope and healing. Today, he sees drinking Jun and Kombucha alike as a fun pathway to sobriety and ultimately resilience.
