Le Riche Wines

This would be my wow face.

We had a wine tasting last week that featured all South African wines. Our friend from South Africa and owner of South to South distribution in Louisiana (the other South), Suzaan Lang was the host. The wines were amazing! One of them was Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon from Stellenbosch. The wine is made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged in French oak barrels for 24 months. Grapes are sourced from various sub-zones including Helderberg Coastal, Simonsberg, and Helderberg Mountain. The color is dark purple with intense black fruit aromas and savory allspice notes. The taste is balanced and definitely shows firm tannins which would make it pair spectacularly with most foods like lamb or steak. It retails for $35.99 and is definitely worth every penny. We now have it stock and I plan to drink it regularly. Don’t worry, I’ll order more!

With Mother’s Day the following day, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover something special to celebrate with.
Tasting sessions will be held in small groups of 8 guests every 30 minutes from 2–5 PM.
