We are resuming our page, Borrega it’s back, on a different entity, all good !!!! we are selling Breakfast Tacos San Antonio Tx style, as well Mexico City Street Tacos. Come and see us at the Farmer’s Market at City Park by the Peristyle, Sunday’s 8-12 pm . We are catering as well.

I’m beyond excited to announce my son Yves is part of this year’s Jazz Fest food experience, a total honor to be chosen, not easy, in my opinion. A total landmark in a city with a very selective and creative food industry. His new pop up Ella will serve Tamales and Flautas as part of the Mexican Cultural Exchange. Many don’t know but before Borrega, for more than 20 years I was a full time artist. I “perform” my trade on the street, also I develop a “fine art” approach in my career having exhibits on galleries around the USA and local art centers like the CAC. Also I start assembling Day of the Dead Altars around Nola. Over the last years at the beautiful Botanical Garden in City Park with support of the Hellis Foundation. Well, I have invited to be part of Jazz Fest this year , second week May 1-4. , painting with spray paint a small piece on the site. It’s a true honor to participate as artist to represent my Motherland, because as you know Mexico is this year selected country at Jazz Fest, stop by and say hello if you are around the Fairgrounds. painting

Indescriptible for me to be part of these amazing work, pretty cool vignettes and great momentos of New Orleanians shared in in these labor of love , the book is for sale locally on Frenchman’s Art and Books. As well the usual suspects like Amazon too, please consider to buy it.
