I want to begin by saying I do not officially know when I became interested in food. My parents inform me that ever since I was very young, I always said I wanted to become a chef. I use to watch Emeril on the Food Network and would never miss a show. While most children would play army or play with toys, I would play "Chef." My specialty was "hotdog soup." My parents would always encourage me to
get in the kitchen and play around with food. They would try everything and tell me "how great it was." I really started studying into food at the age of 14 and truthfully said I would pursue a career in the culinary arts. I picked up my first job at a deli and kept studying into the arts. Soon after starting at a local casino, I attended a small community college. I kept striving for greatness with the help of an amazing chef at the casino. I hit a rough pack in school do to "Chef John Doe" and considered switching careers until Chef Matt started helping me see the real kitchens. By this time I was set on attending culinary school again. I left the local college and started The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. It is the best of the best and I would never trade it for anything. I met some of the greatest culinary chefs, culinary artist, FOH Captions, Mangers, bakers, pastry chefs, and sommeliers. I found a new love, something very few people can understand. So many people claim "passion" for food, but most have no idea what it means. I am here for you. I am here to accelerate in my field and become the best I can. I want to share my passion with everyone. I want to share my love with anyone who has a listening ear. Hopefully I can bring new things to light, and help people understand. Please enjoy my page. Ask questions. Have fun. Share photos. Share recipes.
