Walking on stage in a few minutes for the 2026 Women’s Leadership Conference keynote panel for the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce.

We’re talking about bridging the power gap and women leading across generations alongside some seriously impressive women.

Grateful to share the stage with Angèle McClain, Toya Barnes Teamer & our amazing moderator Valerie M. Grubb.

Let’s talk leadership and what it actually takes to claim your seat at the table.

If y’all are here today, come say hello after the panel!

Excited to be speaking at New Orleans Entrepreneur Week this Friday. 🥂

Panel: Raising the Bar: Scaling the Next Generation of Beverage Brands

We’ll be talking about the real story of building a beverage company. The fun parts, the hard parts, and the things nobody tells you when you start.

Including the journey from making bitters in crawfish boil pots in New Orleans… to building a national brand… to winning a Golden Ticket at Walmart Open Call and preparing for a national retail launch.

📍 Ochsner Health Stage
🗓 Friday | 12:50–1:20 PM

NOEW is one of my favorite weeks in New Orleans. A whole room full of founders, investors, students, and operators all trying to build something real.

If you’re around, come say hello!

New Orleans has never been short on remarkable women. This month, we are celebrating them around the table.

In honor of Women’s History Month, El Guapo is partnering with OpenTable to host a special dinner at Compère Lapin on March 18 at 6:30 PM, celebrating the female entrepreneurs who help shape the culture, creativity, and spirit of New Orleans.

It will be an evening of great food, great conversation, and a room full of women who are building businesses, supporting one another, and making this city what it is.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Glass Half Full, the New Orleans nonprofit turning recycled glass into sand for coastal restoration.

Tickets are on sale now through OpenTable.

Come celebrate the women who keep New Orleans interesting. 💫

Cocktail culture is shifting. And honestly? It’s overdue.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ is about drinks that actually taste like something.
Menus that welcome everyone at the table.
Home bars that feel lived in, not staged.
And recipes you remember because you want to make them again.

We’re leaving behind the noise.
The sugar for no reason.
The smoke domes.
The overbuilt menus that need a footnote.

What’s in is intention.
What’s out is excess for the sake of it.

Save this for later.
Send it to your group chat.
Argue with us in the comments if you must.

Drink better. Edit accordingly.

Today is King’s Day! Around here, that matters. 🎭 Did you know we’re hosting this year?! Come visit us on Gravier Street.

Mardi Gras is not a one-day party. It’s a season. And it officially starts today.

That doesn’t mean parades every night or going hard from here on out. It means settling into a rhythm. King cake on the counter. Friends popping by. A drink in hand at home, however you’re drinking right now.

We pulled together a couple of go-to drinks we always keep around this time of year.

If you’re doing Dry January, this still applies. This season isn’t about excess. It’s about flavor, hospitality, and showing up well. You can celebrate without overdoing it, and you can drink thoughtfully without sitting out the fun.

That’s exactly where El Guapo fits.

El Guapo King Cake Cocktail
Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:
• 2 oz Cinnamon Infused Bourbon
• .5 oz Licor 43
• .75 oz El Guapo Creole Orgeat
• .75 oz Heavy Cream
• 6 Dashes El Guapo Barrel Aged Vanilla Bitters

Instructions:
Rim a small glass with colored sugar. Combine all cocktail ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill and then strain in your glass over one large piece of ice. Garnish with cinnamon stick dipped in edible glitter and a flower.

Cinnamon Infused Bourbon
Put 4 cinnamon sticks in an 8 oz jar. Fill jar with bourbon. Allow to sit and infuse for 3-4 days. Remove and discard cinnamon sticks when ready to make you cocktails. Do not substitute powdered cinnamon!

Low proof option: For a lower proof version, keep the Licor 43 and replace the bourbon with Spiritless NA Bourbon. You will still get warm vanilla and baking spice, just with a softer finish.

No proof option: For a fully spirit free pour, omit the Licor 43 and use Spiritless NA Bourbon in place of the bourbon. The cream, Creole Orgeat, cinnamon, and Barrel Aged Vanilla Bitters deliver plenty of depth and structure on their own.

Happy New Year, friends! 🥳 Since there are lots of new faces & great questions around here lately, I think it’s time to re-introduce myself. I’m Christa Cotton, the CEO of El Guapo.

We make cocktail bitters, syrups, mixers & now canned Bitters & Soda in New Orleans — aka everything but the booze. And yes, even our bitters are alcohol free. Whether your drink stays that way is entirely up to you. 💃🏻

It hasn’t always been easy with COVID, supply chain chaos & now this economy? Olympic-level hurdles. But we’re still here, thanks to you. 8.5 years in, we’re in all 50 states, 8 countries & still expanding.

We’re known for impeccable ingredients, awesome customer service & a commitment to sustainability. No fake stuff. No weird chemicals. Just great products bartenders swear by and grandmothers hoard for special occasions.

I’m a & Fellow, 7x Good Food Award winner, 3x Auburn Top Tiger + a wife, mommy to Flora & chief wrangler of Archie Manning the Bernese Mountain Dog 🐾. We live in Uptown New Orleans and truly appreciate your support.

I received the 2025 Tory Burch Foundation Founder’s Award 🎉 & our NEW Bitters & Soda were featured on The Today Show recently.

We’re heading into 2026 with big energy, new products & a lot to be thankful for. If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve been with us for a while, thank you for sticking around.

Now tell me, what’s your favorite El Guapo product & why?!👇🏼
