Good Evening Everyone. I would like to say thank you all for all of the visits, calls, texts, and prayers that came through during this challenging time. It really helped me stay calm and positive through this difficult time. For that I am extremely grateful. I am scheduled for lower lumbar surgery on tomorrow morning and am putting it all in GOD's hands. I will update you all after I am out of recovery. This will be a year long recovery process after that I will be taking this year off from the kitchen and focusing on healing my body. I appreciate all of your continued support and understanding. I also appreciate all of your donations and understanding of my situation . I love you all! Now let's recover!

Good Morning Everyone! Althea Marie's Catering Co. LLC is having a sale this Friday August 13,2021! We have catfish baskets, shrimp baskets, combo platters, and even your favorite crawfish beignets! Please check out our menu below! Pre-orders are encouraged for pick up and are required for delivery. The delivery fee is $4 and is FREE for orders of 2 or more. The last time for pre-orders is on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 7pm. We will be cooking until 4pm on Friday and please contact us for the address information. Who are Althea & Marie?

Althea Green and Marie Rose were two very hardworking women who supported their families through one of the best ways possible, their appetite. With limited materials and resources, they were able to create some of the best local inspired dishes for their families on a daily basis. Feeding the family on a limited income was their story but it did not define them or their style. Their sole reason wasn't to feed the family but to show them daily that they were loved and appreciated. From large pots of seafood gumbo to homemade red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, these two ladies didn't miss a beat for their loved ones. In doing this, they managed to pass on these traditions and skill sets to their children and grandchildren. I, being both their grandchild, have been inspired by their skill set, have studied their techniques, and live by their recipes. In doing this, I am able to bring forth something that seems to be missing in the modern culinary world, LOVE.

In doing this, my goal is to share with the world the amount of love I received, by sharing some of the amazing cuisine created by two very wonderful people. My dishes are inspired by those two wonderful figures and reflect my love for them, my love for food, and my love of people.

We would be excited cater your next small gathering, dinner party, office function, or even a sporting event party. We also offer plate lunches available every Friday, with a new menu updated weekly on Mondays.
