After years of serving the Old Metairie community, we have some bittersweet news to share. Our 600 Metairie Road location will be closing, with our last day of service being lunch next Friday, June 26th.
This was not a decision we made willingly, but we are choosing to walk out of this chapter with full hearts and good memories.
Old Metairie gave us something rare - a neighborhood that genuinely showed up. The regulars who became friends, the families who built us into their routines, the neighbors who chose a local spot when they didn’t have to. You made this location feel like home, and we are so grateful.
Of course, our Metairie location became what it was because of the team that drove it each day. From our past with Carrie, Darra, Megan and Gavin…to the current dream team of Alex, Dajonnae, Isabella, Ben, MaryJane and Marco. Your warmth, your hustle, and your care for every guest is something we are incredibly proud of. You are City Greens as much as any address ever was.
Our other location on Poydras is open and ready to welcome you (as well as MSY). We hope you’ll come find us there - same food, same heart, different table.
Thank you, Old Metairie. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you.
