I've been exploring food waste as both medium and muse. Imagining whispy garments fashioned from delicate onion skin and elaborate sculptures of fish skeletons and chicken feathers.

The United States discards more food than any other country in the world: nearly 60 million tons (120 billion pounds ) every year. Estimated to be almost 40 percent of the entire US food supply. While people go hungry and the planet suffocates. Have you ever taken the time to think about how much food you throw away?

I want to thank everyone who has donated and shared to make my educational dreams come true!

I just want to share a little more about the residencies with Gramounce and Climate Farm School.

The residency with CFS is at a regenerative livestock farm in Italy an hour outside Florence. Here I will have hands on experience working with raising and livestock.. this residency will be completely on location at Cascina Bagaggera.

I have 3 days to place my initial deposit and secure my spot!!! They have granted me a 50 percent scholarship bringing the total to $1900

The five residencies at Gramounce are 10 days each in Amsterdam, Spain, and Mexico with the remaining two to be announced. There is no scholarship or funding available for this Alternate Masters program and the cost is 6700 euros (around 7kUSD) they do offer a payment plan BUT I have to come uo with 1500 to secure the spot and the plan. The deadline to do that is May 1st.
