🌟SUNDAYS & MONDAYS🌟
+++🌿 10 am - 1 pm 🌿+++
…. are Farm OPEN Hours!

Wow — so much has transformed at the farm in this first week of fall! THANK YOU to each of you who brought your time and muscles since Equinox to turning cover crops for new garden beds, clearing weeds, pulling vines off of trees, planting out seedlings, and having heart-to-hearts with the soil! Persimmons, coneflowers, cypresses, habañeros, fritillaries, teenage chickens, orange cat... all the notes are sounding! 🎶

🌿OPEN HOURS are open drop-in times to visit the farm, learn, tend the plants, harvest, be with the land, and rest the mind, heart, and spirit…

🌿No experience necessary to help in the garden! We put up a farm task list for open hours each week, with projects large and small to choose from, for anyone who wants to help tend the garden. Beginner friendly!!

🌿This quarter acre of biodiverse living beings is cared for by many hands in collaboration, so that harvests can be shared freely by all of us in community. In this way, we seek to grow relationships with plants and earth as living beings, rather than as commodities with prices for purchase... Open Hours is where this happens!

🌿All are welcome to pick your own harvests to take home from the medicine and food plants in season, make bouquets of flowers and herbs, collect seeds, take plant cuttings for propagation, and be at home at the farm...
..Or just come to visit. You can also look through the garden library we’ll have set out, peruse the at cost apothecary (once we refill it...), or bring your own projects to work on outdoors. Hope to see you!

🌖🌘 EQUINOX OPEN HOURS 🌒🌔

Come celebrate Fall Equinox by visiting the farm this upcoming Sunday and Monday mornings, to open the new farm season together! We’ll be clearing overgrown vines and brush, but we’ll also be planting for Fall!

🌿SUNDAY | sep 22 | 10 am - 1 pm
🌿MONDAY | sep 23 | 10 am - 1 pm

This Sunday the 22nd is the date of astronomical equinox, when length of day and of night are exactly equal, so at this special moment in the growing season, we’d love to ask for all who visit the farm to think about bringing blessings, prayers for the land, intentions, protections, and dreams for the community season ahead, and to offer them to the land as feels appropriate to you.

We’ll set up a shared altar space to add to and tend together as one form of invitation, and we also welcome other forms of offering that may be more private or personal or take other shapes. (I like to bury written intentions under my favorite trees, for example).

🌒 Open Hours are weekly open drop-in times to visit, learn, tend, and harvest at the farm. No experience necessary to help in the garden. All are welcome to pick your own harvests to take home from the medicine and food plants in season, make bouquets of flowers and herbs, collect seeds, take plant cuttings for propagation, and be at home in the garden. This quarter acre of biodiverse living beings is cared for by many hands in collaboration, so that harvests can be shared freely by all of us in community. In this way, we seek to grow relationships with plants and earth as living beings, rather than as commodities with prices for purchase... Open Hours is where this happens!

You can also look through the garden library we’ll have set out, peruse the at cost apothecary, or bring your own projects to work on outdoors.

🌿 Any herbs or eating greens or flowers that are ready to harvest are available to you to pick and take home for you, family and friends, or community projects. Happy Equinox!
