Hooting Hills Ecological Farm has the most scenic pig pen I've ever seen. The brushy area works well to shade the animals from the sun.

Ben told me he plans to move the pigs soon. He's trying to create two ponds on his land, but the ponds are leaking. He could buy costly bentonite to seal the ponds but he's going to try using his pigs, a method farmers have used for centuries. The idea is to put them in the pond area where they will root and stomp. Then the soil that has been stomped becomes densely compacted and the pond doesn't leak.
