We picked some of our famously good sweet corn this morning! $8/dozen! This is not GMO round-up ready commercial sweetcorn. It was hand planted, weeded on hands and knees, sometimes watered with a sprinkle can, and hand picked. We also have lots of fresh dill for your pickling needs. The dill won't be green for much longer, so preserve some now for later!

We are happy for the rain today, but it's a little too much all at once! Take cover at the veggie stand and see what's newly in stock! We now have more peppers, eggplants, and cherry tomatoes🫑🌶️🍆🍅

We are open and plan to remain open for the season! Currently our hours will be 7am-8pm daily -CLOSED ON TUESDAYS. But be patient with us as they may be changed as the season progresses. We will always post our current hours on our page so check often to stay updated!

🌿 Old Weather Saying

"When the dew is on the grass, rain will never come to pass. When the grass is dry at morning light, look for rain before the night."

For generations, farmers watched the morning dew as one of nature's simplest weather clues. Heavy dew often forms on clear, calm nights—conditions that usually mean fair weather. But if the grass is dry at daybreak, it can be a sign that clouds, wind, or rain moved in overnight.

Shhhhh! We've been Facebook quiet, because we've been too busy working! We're going to quietly open up the self-serve veggie stand today at noon. The highway signs will not be out, and those who are reading this (and those they tell) will be the only ones who know we're open. We have potatoes, beets, dill, a few cucumbers and more!! Will post pictures when we're all set up! Have a great Saturday!

Eggs are available in the yellow cooler at Tikalsky's Veggie Stand. We'll try to keep eggs in the cooler all week (weather permitting). $3 per dozen from happy free-ranging chickens.
