Our Big Crossbred Sow, Scarlett, and Luna our Calico Gilt, sharing a pen, because our crates are all full. They are getting closer to Farrowing, so we pulled them in from the pasture. I am excited to see what sort of litters these two have! ;)

2022 Holiday letter and re-cap:

Greetings! 2022 was a wonderful Year for Johnson Berkshires! We had Healthy Pigs, good litters, a few Champions, and many smiles! We were able to witness new first time Swine Exhibitors, and more advanced Kids improving their craft. It brought much Joy to me, to watch Kids make the Auction for the first time, and grow passion in and for their Swine projects. We were able to watch our own Show Team make strides forward in their projects on multiple fronts as well.

And we continue to grow our Feeder Pig program and Butcher Hog market as well.

A very Sincere Thank you is expressed to each and every one of our Customers for placing your Trust in us. There are dozens of Producers out there that have been doing this much, much longer than we have, and the options are frankly, endless. The Fact that our Customers keep coming back to grow WITH US, that makes us feel GREAT!

We don't know everything, and we never will know everything. However, we continue to learn from our own Mentors every single day. All that I can promise is that as I learn, I will share that info with you as my Client, and we will both grow, together.

A Thank you to Breeders that continue to help us; Wayne Huiniker, Ray Gaskill, Hebbe Show Stock, Dusty Compart, and most importantly, my Dad, Odean Johnson.
