🌱 The Farm Store is officially open! 🌱

🛒 The store is a self-serve, honor system (cameras are watching ) store with all the great fresh veggies, and more, we are known for at our Farmers Markets and our CSA. We will stock it with more and more as the season goes on. No need to wait for the weekend, stop out any day and load up on your fresh local veggies.

⭐ Stop out on a Thursday from 3-6 and you can get a look at how CSA on-farm pick up works too. It's never to late to join the season of great local eating.

Spring week 4 harvest was the perfect blend of seasonal eating. It didn't have a lot of color but the flavors were spot on for the last of May in Wisconsin.

In the basket this week was our favorite cut lettuce, bok choy, fresh spring onions, green garlic, asparagus, sprouting broccoli (single shares), spinach (small shares), dill, cilantro, and sword leaf lettuce.

Each week we challenge our members to a "go find it" veggie hunt. This week they are on the search for our first mini harvest of snap peas hidden in their bag of lettuce. The winner gets a prize.

Week 3 Spring Session included Asparagus, Cut Lettuce, Radishes, Salad Kale, Bunching Onions, Salad Turnips, Southern Giant Mustard Greens and Sprouting Broccoli in the Small and Spinach in the Single Harvest.
We've had a lot of families sign up in the last couple weeks. Remember, you can sign up anytime during the season.

Week 2 Spring Session Harvests are in the kitchens of our members tonight. It is a great harvest for Mid May. Included this week are Bok Choy, Radishes, Salad Turnips, Spinach, Shallots, Italian Dandelion, Broccoli Florets, Cut Lettuce and Swiss Chard. Happy Eating Everyone!!!

Is there a party at The Back 80 this afternoon? Nope!! This was ON FARM CSA PICK UP 10 minutes after the door opened. Our neighbors always say they know it's CSA DAY because our normally quiet road gets pretty busy. The support from our local community is amazing. We LOVE our people!!

INTRODUCING THE WELZINATOR 5126!!!
It is a 1951 Farmall Super C with many things added in 2026 by our good friend Tyson Weltzin. He fabricated the addition of 3 Jang seeding units to a belly mounted cultivation frame. We also added 3 row finger weeders for in row cultivation. In addition Tyson fabricated a frame for a Gandy applicator to add amendments to the front of the tractor. He also designed sprayer arms and a side tank to apply liquid foliar feeding for healthier plants. Tyson is always up for a challenge to figure out how to make things work better. This was a challenge and he nailed it. We can't wait to get the WELZINATOR 5126 in the field and see what it can do. We are so lucky to have Tyson as a great friend for so many years. We don't see him often enough, but there aren't many days that we don't check on each other. THANK YOU TYSON!!!
