A delicious appetizer, but make it Cajun!

Richard’s Andouille Cajun Sausage, cream cheese, pepper jelly, and Bergeron’s pecans 🤯 holy freaking moly 😍

Thank you for the savory, spicy & sweet recipe we can’t wait to try on repeat!

Recipe:
1 package of Richards Cajun Sausage, Andouille (3 links)
-cut into coins, set aside
1/4 block of cream cheese
Pepper jelly
Candied pecans:
- melt 2 tbsp of butter in a nonstick skillet
-add 6tbsp of brown sugar and melt together
- add 1 cup of chopped pecans
- stir together and spread out on parchment paper, allow to cool

Directions:
Heat grill (or a nonstick skillet if cooking on a stovetop)
Grill each side of the Andouille coins
Remove to a plate and set aside to cool
Spread each Andouille coin with a little cream cheese
Top with pepper jelly
Top with candied pecans
Enjoy!

In 2019, pecans contributed $11.2 million to the Louisiana economy! Some pecans are grown commercially, but many come from people’s yards and in native groves in river bottoms. Most are sold to shelling facilities in other states because there are only a few in Louisiana.

Bergeron Pecans is one of the shelling facilities in Louisiana! It’s located in New Roads and has over 100 years dedicated to Louisiana pecans. Today, the company processes 5-7 million pounds of in-shell pecans annually!
