Success was never supposed to be measured only by how much money you make, how many people know your name, or how impressive your life looks from the outside.
A few weeks ago at church, I heard something that has stayed with me:
Everywhere you go, people should learn something about the love of Jesus simply by the way you speak to them and the way you treat them.
And I can’t stop thinking about that.
In business.
In motherhood.
In friendships.
With the person who can do something for you and especially the person who can’t.
Did you make people feel seen?
Did you make them feel valued?
Did you show grace when it would’ve been easier not to?
Did you leave them better than you found them?
Because at the end of the day, I don’t want my greatest accomplishment to be a successful business, a certain number in the bank, or a name people recognize.
I want the way I loved people to be the thing they remember.
Businesses grow. Money comes and goes. Recognition fades.
But the way you make someone feel can stay with them for a lifetime.
And if people can see even a little bit of Jesus in the way I treat them, professionally and personally — that’s the kind of success I want. 🤍
