I can’t recommend everyone to go shopping at Oakboro Tractor & Equipment enough, they are basically selling everything at cost to crews and people helping with the relief going to western NC. They’ve been working with JAARS and others getting chainsaws and equipment out there. In an effort to say thank you, I hope the community really supports this company for being selfless in their efforts to help out.

We have one more pig ready if anyone is interested, whole pig pricing is 2.25/lb live weight, plus the butchering fees, which vary based on what you want done. We do require a $400 non refundable deposit for the pig

Want to fill your freezer but hate seeing the prices of groceries going up every time you shop?
We have 3 pigs left waiting for deposits! Whole pig is $3.65/lb live weight, which includes basic processing into what you want.
Half hogs are $3.85/lb live weight processed how you want. The pigs get dropped off at Cruse Butchers or Plantation Processing for processing.
A deposit is required to hold your pig, we estimate the cost and you pay 50% up front. The balance is due at pickup/delivery of your meat.

Looking for some bales of old hay that is no longer usable as food for cows, my pigs have made a mess of the bard and I need to put something down the help with it. Figured old hay or straw would be perfect. Let me know if you have anything available!

Pig on the right will be available to fill your freezer with! With the food market the way it is, it is a great way to have some more food security! should be ready in about 4-5 months, contact me for more details if you’re interested, $3.65/lb for whole hog, $3.85/lb for half hogs based on live weight, this includes basic processing. We typically butcher around 325-350 lb range. Can go smaller if you prefer
