I started the Valais Blacknose breedup program in 2023 by breeding my registered border leicester ewes and a few lincolns to a purebred Valais ram and got some great F1 ewes in 2023. I have 2 years of F2 ewes and ready to offer my F1 ewes to someone else after lambs are weaned end of May. There is about 25 ewes. They are great mothers, milkers and good sized ewes - their lambs grow like crazy. I also have a pure Valais Ram to go along as well. He has sired us some great daughters and now we need to move on to other genetics. The lambs in the photos are all F2s. I have raised sheep all my life and these are productive, no junk ewes.
