Its a COOOOLD one.

The chickens and ducks are hiding in the coop, the bunnies are burrowed, and the goats are sleeping in the barn. Our trusty dogs are inside keeping me company while i still heal.

My husband and I took some much needed rest and recharged today for this snow storm we are getting by celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary which is also one year since we started the farm!🥳

I can’t believe one whole year ago this man made every part of Oliver and I’s dreams come true with having some chickens and ducks.

Now we have a whole farm!

No chickens were harmed in the result of my fall😅

I fell Wednesday and broke my ankle in two places and had to have surgery yesterday. I’m doing great and am hoping for a speedy recovery!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

What started as just wanting to help our neighbors turned into something we’ll carry with us forever. Over the past week, we were able to plow over 100 families across Uniontown, Lemont Furnace, Hopwood, Masontown, Fairchance, and the surrounding areas, all for free!

Long days, late nights, cold hands, tired equipment, and a whole lot of heart went into every driveway and sidewalk.

None of this would have been possible without the support of this community. The messages, the shares, the honks, the waves, the coffee dropped off, the thank-yous: every bit of it kept us going when the work was heavy and the days were long. This community showed up for us just as much as we showed up for you.

As hard as it is to say, today will be our last day offering free plowing services. We gave it everything we had, and we’re proud of the work we did and the people we were able to help.

We showed up with our name on the truck and our hearts in the work… and we’d do it again tomorrow.

2025 was a year of growth for Lally Homestead.

What started as a little boy’s dream has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. Through hard work, faith, and a whole lot of heart, that dream took root and turned into what you see today.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who supported us, believed in us, and grew alongside us this year. Here’s to honoring where it began and being excited for where it’s going next. 🌱❤️
