Operation Restore Fields has begun.
Today Farmer Chris spread grass seed on all our hay fields. The next few days we'll be working on spreading nutrients to help those seeds grow.
All this is an effort to improve our hay fields, leading to higher yields and higher quality hay for our Moo Crew.

Sunday's rain gave way to a beautiful Monday.

We spent it putting everything back to normal after this weekend's event and receiving a large delivery of feed for our cows over the winter. Our hay fields do not produce enough to sustain our herd all year. We're thankful for other local farmers who work hard to produce the food your food eats!

It was a long, productive day, and we were rewarded with this lovely sunset.

Wow.
That's the word the comes to mind when we think about yesterday's event. Just wow.
Our family is beyond grateful for all the volunteers, the sponsors, the vendors, the performers, the speakers, and each and every person who attended.
God showed up in BIG ways and small, his presence was evident from start to finish!
After we catch our breath and tackle some big projects on the farm, it looks like we'll have to start planning for Faith & Freedom Fest 2027.

Our farm stand is officially closed for the season.
The garden is done producing and our hens have slowed down with the shortening of days.

Thank you to everyone who stops by to help support our little venture! We'll see you next spring🌻

Yesterday we braved the storm and butchered 120 pasture-raised chickens 🍗
Praise God the rain skirted around us all day long and we were able to finish the job. We're grateful for friends who wanted to learn a new skill and were willing to jump in and get dirty to help us all day long.

If you ordered chickens and have not scheduled a pick up, please message us!
