The last time I made a post about myself feels like it was eons ago. Since then my business has gained a larger following with some of you that may not have had the opportunity to know me personally.
So let me introduce myself. My name is Garrett Melnar, and I am the owner of Bar M Design. I began my journey a long time ago when I started showing cattle in high school. This lit my flame for the cattle industry, and the agriculture industry as a whole.
Once in college, I started creating some designs for myself in Adobe Software such as Photoshop, just as a hobby. A friend I had at Blinn noticed my work and asked me to create an ad for some of his cattle. I ended up loving the design process and started to get more requests from my friends to make ads for their livestock. This gave me the idea of starting a company, but I didn't have a name for it yet. I thought for days what I would name it, then I looked at the old fire brand I had hanging on the wall. It was brand that I found in a barn on my grandparents property that had a Bar M on it. At that point I knew my company had its name. Since then I have added more services to my business, starting with ad design, then logo design, branding projects, livestock sales catalogs, videography, etc.
Now I passionately do graphic design as my job. I love creating eye-catching, bold designs and content for clients to market their livestock or company. Everyday I look forward to the challenge of making my clients stand out against their competitors, and I'd love to help you do the same. Just send an inquiry here, and we can get started.
