There are two months in the year where the sugar bush is totally transformed between the first day and the last. May begins with all the new life just starting to tinge the woods with green. By the end of the month green is everywhere. It's an amazing transformation. Then in October, the process is reversed. We start with woods full of blazing color that seems too beautiful to be real, and we end with bare branches and all the leaves scattered in a beautiful kaleidoscope on the woods' floor. The mountains that the leaves shut out all summer suddenly appear again and we start all over. Round and round and round it goes. 🌱🍁🌱🍁
