Sweet Sunday ... how to pack in your iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium into one sweet bite? This sweetener is a nutritional powerhouse, especially for women notoriously low on iron and magnesium. About 2.5 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses contains 50% percent of your daily allowance. Although I shy away from sweeteners, molasses is actually low glycemic and I prefer mine made from beets for added detoxifying minerals and nutrients.
