With our one year wedding anniversary approaching, I found myself going back through all of our photos and videos from our wedding weekend in Rome and feeling SO emotional over how quickly time has passed🤍

I ended up sitting down and writing an entire recap of our wedding weekend from our Welcome Dinner in Trastevere, to our wedding day at Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere and Villa Aurelia, all the way to our winery day in the Lazio countryside 🍷

It is definitely a long one haha, but if you love Italy, destination weddings, food, travel, or just want to reminisce with us a little, I linked the full article below 🤍

An Italian style board featuring Gorgonzola PDO 🧀✨

Italy is known for its rich cheesemaking heritage, and Gorgonzola PDO one of the world’s oldest blue cheeses comes in two distinct styles. Dolce is soft, creamy, and delicate, while Piccante is firmer with a more pronounced flavor.

Paired with simple, traditional accompaniments, each element highlights the unique characteristics of both cheeses.

Ingredients:
Gorgonzola Dolce
Gorgonzola Piccante
Prosciutto
Salami
Rustic bread
Red grapes
Honey
Rosemary & thyme

One of my favorite things about The Charcuterie Queen is how customizable each package can be to truly fit your event ✨

For this 30 person birthday celebration, our client wanted a little bit of everything so we curated a full spread that included a cheese & charcuterie board, a brunch board, a fresh fruit board, and a sandwich board.

The sandwich board featured our TCQ Signature Sandwich, along with a kid friendly option by request because every detail matters when it comes to hosting.

No two events are ever the same, and that’s what makes each one so special🧀✨

One of Rome’s most beloved pastries! A soft, slightly sweet bun filled with fresh whipped cream. Traditionally, these pastries were given by Italian men to their future brides on the first Friday of March, sometimes even hiding a small ring or gift inside, such a sweet Roman tradition🇮🇹

I followed the Maritozzi dough recipe from .in.cucina for this video, and then filled them with my own recipe for the whipped cream filling.

If you’ve ever had one in Rome, you know how special they are…and if you haven’t, this is your sign to try making them at home!!!
