To everyone who has made Ladybird part of their story,
After nearly ten unforgettable years, we have made the difficult decision not to renew our lease. Ladybird will close its doors at the end of 2026.
When we opened Ladybird, we set out to create something playful, welcoming, and a little unexpected - a place where incredible food, thoughtful cocktails, and genuine hospitality could come together around a plant-based table. What followed was more than we ever imagined.
Over the past decade, Ladybird has been the backdrop for first dates, birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, reunions, late-night cocktails, and countless ordinary evenings that became unforgettable. None of that would have been possible without this incredible community.
As Overthrow enters its next chapter, we are becoming more intentional about where we focus our time, energy, and resources. Our priority now is growing Soda Club beyond New York, beginning with our first expansion to Denver this fall. As we look toward that future, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision not to renew Ladybird’s lease when it comes to an end.
But this isn’t goodbye just yet. Ladybird will remain open through the end of the year, and we hope you’ll continue making memories with us around these tables, just as you’ve done for the past decade.
