"One should always be drunk. That's all that matters... But with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk."

There are a lot of things that make a wine unique - and the geography🌍 of a wine is no exception. Temperature, climate, elevation, and soil type all play a part.

Today we will speak about some popular and interesting sort of wine. Read on to find out which one👇🏻

🇫🇷France, Italy🇮🇹, and Napa Valley dominate the popular wine scene. But informed connoisseurs know that Germany is home to one of the biggest, richest and oldest winemaking traditions in the world: riesling🍇

Riesling is an aromatic white wine grape variety that yields a floral🌸 white wine with fruit flavors. The riesling grape originated in the Rhine River region, which runs throughout parts of Germany🇩🇪, France🇫🇷, Austria🇦🇹, and Switzerland🇨🇭. Common characteristics of riesling wines include light body and aromas of citrus, stone fruit, white flowers, and petrol. Due to its naturally high acidity, Riesling is one of the most popular varieties used to produce late harvest wines.

The confounding joy of wine is the fact that you will never fully master everything there is to know about the topic, but you can sure try—particularly with a few essential books in your library (or cellar).

If you could only select one wine reference book, this award-winning tome would be the one; it is an essential guide for anyone interested in wine. Edited by Jancis Robinson and Julia Harding, the Oxford Companion has won, among many things, two James Beard awards since it was first published in 1994. Four editions later, this encyclopedic guide to all things enological (with nearly 4,000 entries) is still considered to be the magnum opus of everything from grape varieties and wine regions to urban wineries and cork taint with supporting infographics and maps throughout.

Wine has been around for centuries🍷
It’s a complex drink that can take years to perfect. There is history and science inside every bottle.

Believe it or not, there are some people that have a fear of wine. It’s called “oenophobia”.

Do you have “oenophobia” or not❓
Or maybe you are a wine admirer and an expert❓😏

Each type of corkscrew has different advantages and while they all open wine bottles, how they are used to remove a cork varies from type to type. Generally to use a corkscrew, you will screw the worm into the center of the cork. Then, slowly pull upward until the cork is removed.

Today we will speak about the most popular corkscrew — Waiter's Corkscrews.

Waiter's corkscrews - also know as wine keys - are the standard tool of choice for most establishments. They offer the perfect blend of affordability, compact size, and functionality and are considered to be the oldest form of opening a bottle of wine. They’re perfect for front-of-house use for servers who often open and pour wine directly at tables. Many waiter's corkscrews include bottle cap openers and foil cutter blades as well.

How to use a waiter's corkscrew:

• Start by cutting the foil under the lip of the bottle

• Remove the foil from the bottle neck

• Place the worm on the center of the cork and twist the corkscrew to insert the worm into the cork

• Place the first, small boot lever notch on the lip of the bottle and hold it in place

• Lever the handle up to pull the cork about halfway out of the bottle

• Move the second boot lever notch to the tip of the bottle and pull the cork the rest of the way out of the bottle

• To remove the cork from the worm, reverse the corkscrew motion while holding onto the cork

We propose you to study together in our heading
In post of this rubric the top wine terms will feature that'll help you out in real life — like when you're poppin’ bottles and trying to describe what you're seeing, tasting, and smelling.

Here will be must-know words and phrases that will help you to decode the language of wine so you can confidently enjoy your oenophilic journey.

The first term is AERATION.

👉🏻Exposing wine to air so that it can "breathe" before drinking it. When oxygen is introduced to wine, it releases aromas and opens up flavors much like swirling wine in a glass does.

Whether red wine has any prominent health benefit is still a debatable issue. However, studies have shown that consuming a moderate amount of red wine, which has an alcohol content of 12% -15% on a daily basis helps in the prevention of a number of diseases including heart disease.

3 Health Benefits of Red Wine

#1. Rich in antioxidants

Darker grapes are higher in antioxidants like resveratrol, epicatechin, catechin, and proanthocyanidins. Of these, resveratrol and proanthocyanidins are mainly responsible for keeping you healthy.

#2. Keeps heart healthy

Not only does it regulate the cholesterol levels, but also keeps the heart healthy. Polyphenols, a certain type of antioxidants present in red wines prevent unwanted clotting by keeping the blood vessels flexible. However, it should be remembered that heavy drinking damages the heart.

#3. Reduces the risk of cancer

Regular and moderate consumption of red wine can effectively reduce the risks of certain types of cancers such as basal cell, colon, prostrate carcinoma, ovarian etc. Scientists used a dose of resveratrol on human cancer cells and found that it obstructs the key action of a cancer aiding protein.

Be wealthy and healthy😊
