It’s August, and my brain is twirling around with so many thoughts.

Im full of gratitude, exhaustion, awe, anxiety, endless to do lists, admin tasks, never ending text/ signal/ WhatsApp/ discord/ group me/ dm’s/ phone calls, deep breathing, early mornings, late nights, Charlie XCX jams, dirty dishes, endless coordination, grant related projects, FLOWERS, wedding planning, friendship, long phone calls, etccccccc

Life is BIG, sometimes I wanna shrink, sometimes I wanna bloom. All I can say in August is, I’m along for the ride. And thank you endlessly for my people network who are along for the ride with me. I’ll champion you all day everyday

Our most fabulous team of ladies Steph St. Aubin & Ritual Soapworks will be at Bloomfield Saturday Market tomorrow and OMG are the blooms on point. Dahlias, straight bunches, mixed bouquets, dried flower bouquet sale (!!!), more stuff I’m likely forgetting

Until the morning

The Summer U-Pick Series is officially in full swing 🌸✨ This Saturday is our second U-Pick of the season, and we can’t wait to see you!

For all the details, just check the link in our bio or visit our website. You’ll find all of our events, workshops, and markets under the “Where to Find Us” tab—it’s the easiest way to stay up to date.

Also... to the cuties in this photo: I somehow lost your Instagram handles! 😭 Please tag yourselves because you’re adorable and this photo perfectly captures the joy of the evening.

A little reminder that this is a tender collaboration with our neighbors and friends at Braddock Public House BG Brewing (Brew Gentlemen) . Just two small businesses in Braddock making a go at it, our community means everything to us

Can’t wait to spend another beautiful evening with you all. 🌿💛

A day in the life of these farmers:

🎭 Did our largest wholesale # to date for 2026
🎭 All deliveries done by 10:30am
🎭 Worked in the field until 1:30pm- yes, we trellised in 94 degree heat
🎭 Met with a women about a grant for an hour
🎭 Finished said grant
🎭 Prepped everything for a workshop at Phipps Conservatory
🎭 scooted over to the forest hills pool for a quick 30 min dip & a dinner
🎭 Back to the farm to load up for workshop
🎭 Filled up on gas
🎭 Drove to Phipps Conservatory to set up and teach a 1.5 hour class
🎭 walked the gardens of Mellon park before sunset

Pretty certain this farm crew could run the world

And, This smoke is really scary. But we have a long standing Saturday commitment with Bloomfield Saturday Market market, so we will be there tomorrow. This job is SO hard on so many levels, and we sure hope you give come give your farmers some love. We really need it these days 💗

U-Pick Season is upon us! People often ask us about coming to the field and visiting all the flowers. Usually I’m a bit of a grump and say no because we’re a working farm. However, we open our field up exclusively 6 times throughout the summer. And THIS SATURDAY is one of those times.

Check the link in our bio for details, but here’s the basic run down:

🌼 July 11th & 25th: 5:30- Dark
🌼 August 8th & 22nd: 5:30- Dark
🌼 September 12th & 26th: 5:30- Dark

You get a vase, borrow pruners, and get to stuff as many seasonal flowers as you can into your vase, all for $35. Braddock residents get discounted entry (upon showing addy) for $20/ ticket.

AND, Braddock Public House BG Brewing (Brew Gentlemen) will be offering $5 beers. Grab a beer and pick in the field. Or, pick in the field then head down and grab a beer.

Either way, it’ll be great

Lastly, We have Gisele to thank for this cutie video!!

And as always, we will be at Bloomfield Saturday Market market tomorrow 9-1! Bringing in alllllll the summer annual flower glory

Happy (almost) summer solstice to all who celebrate

Okay, so bear with me here. We’re going to try something new at Shant Hovsepian market tomorrow. An experiment some might say. And if yall are into it & the vibe seems right, we’ll stick with it.

This week at our booth, you will find a big collection of SINGLE VARIETY bouquets. If you don’t know this already about me, I really don’t like making bouquets. I love flowers, but you’re more likely to find me in the field doing any other field task BUT mixed bouquet making 👽. However, what I keep in my house are single variety bouquets. Something about their simplicity brings me joy. It feels like a raw part of the field is with me. As one might imagine, a farmer’s house is full of endless projects, moving puzzle pieces, people, color, smells, dirty dishes. Yet having a single flower to hone in on, and quiet the noise of its surroundings brings me back to basics.

With that being said, as the farm evolves year after year, week after week, I want to do my best to keep reminding myself of what got me to this place. And I think it’s the simple small joys. Taking the external loudness and quieting it, even if just for a moment.

I want to share that simple joy with you. So tomorrow, I hope you’ll take that risk with me.

If you’ve made it this far, we will have:
🌼 eucalyptus
🌼 snapdragons
🌼 feverfew
🌼 sedum
🌼 echinacea
🌼 yarrow + more

We will still have some of our large mixed bouquets, but the volume will be limited.

Myself and Ritual will be holding down the fort. And I so look forward to seeing you all

Happy Juneteenth

Come have a cute night in Braddock! Get dinner at , followed by a play at , and top it off with a locally grown bouquet.

People often ask us where they can buy our flowers locally. And is the neighborhood spot for that!
