Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting two student groups at Katzman Produce for behind-the-scenes market visits.
The Fieldston City Semester students spent time with our Operations Director, Dan, and Communications Director, Brittany, getting a firsthand look at how produce moves through the supply chain. We also welcomed Living City Project students, who joined our CEO Stefanie alongside Miranda from Sharing Excess for a thoughtful conversation on food access and sustainability across our industry.
These visits are a reminder of how important it is to share knowledge and inspire curiosity about where our food comes from. Education is at the core of who we are, and we’re always excited to connect with students eager to learn more about the produce industry!
