Meet Shibani! Shibani has a deep background in food! She spent years working at Kraft Foods (yes, ironic, we know!) She went through a long journey of unexplained infertility and cut out processed foods from her diet. She discovered how food really is medicine. When she had her son, Jayden, she knew we had to do better than what she found in the baby aisle. “Carrots” that looked like all of the over processed foods she had cut out to conceive him. Thus- Lil’ Gourmets was born after seeing how much parents needed convenient, fresh veggies they could feel good about feeding their kids.

Meet Danica!
She has spent most of her career working with small, emerging brands and has her own test kitchen right at home- her own three kids that is! A mom of 3 under 6 years old- a circus act on its own 🎪

Meet Anju!
Is that Shibani? Nope! You may confuse them though because they are sisters! Anju is a seasoned mom of 3 teenage boys so there is really nothing that can shake her.

As we enter back to school season, we are throwing it back to one of the first “aha moments” of Lil’ Gourmets.

After realizing Jayden ate differently than other kids, she wondered why? He wasn’t requesting chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, or pizza. He wanted curry fish tacos in preschool 😲

She realized what was happening. The research showed feeding our early eaters veggies & real flavor would reduce picky eating.

This was amazing! But also inconvenient. Everything on the shelf was over processed or fruit first. Nothing was making veggies easier to serve- even though research showed veggies early and often was the way to go.

Lil’ Gourmets was born after Shibani knew there had to be a better way. Parents and lil’ ones deserved better.

We have been a little MIA raising adventurous eaters 🫚 (ginger emoji is 🤨 but we will take it)
Gearing up for back to school, planning for Fall, finding somewhat of a routine- just some moms running the show! Tell us- how are you?! Pumpkin spice is entering the chat soon and we aren’t sure if we are ready to give up summmer ☀️
