The audacity for a business owner to admit to paying their staff low wages and guilt trip the patrons into making up the difference.

Seems like a toxic business.

🚨 Imagine walking into a restaurant... and getting a tipping lecture before you even see the menu. 😳🍽️

I couldn't believe this sign.

It basically says, "That $100 meal? Expect to pay at least $122—and if you don't like it, maybe don't eat here."

I have no problem tipping. I believe great service deserves a great tip, and I'm happy to reward it. But when a restaurant starts telling customers how much they must tip before they've even ordered, something has changed.

At that point, it no longer feels like a voluntary thank-you—it feels like an extra fee that's being socially enforced.

This isn't about whether servers work hard. They absolutely do. It's about whether businesses should rely on customers to make up the difference while treating tipping as a requirement instead of a choice.

A tip should reflect the service you receive—not be expected before your meal even begins.

So what would you do? If you saw this sign on the front door, would you walk in... or walk away? 🤔

My worker refused to climb into this trench because he claimed it needed “shoring boxes” to stop a cave-in. 🤦‍♂️
I told him people have been digging ditches for years without hiding behind steel boxes. A little dirt never hurt anybody! He walked off the job, so I jumped in and handled it myself.
Nowadays OSHA has everybody acting terrified of real work. What happened to common sense and tough workers?

A fence has been erected between our properties, and while it seemed acceptable at first glance, its proximity to my side has raised some concerns regarding its alignment with the property line. Upon reviewing the boundary markers, I have doubts about the fence's precise positioning. When I mentioned this to my neighbor, they downplayed the issue, stating it's only a minor deviation. I'm torn between pursuing the matter further or letting it go, considering the potential implications for future reference. Would it be advisable to address this issue now to avoid potential disputes?

I came home to find my entire grocery order lined up across the front walkway like this. 😐 There was no knock, no call, and no message letting me know it had been delivered. Thankfully I wasn't gone too long, but if I had been, a lot of this would've been sitting outside in the heat.

I'm curious—has anyone else had a delivery left like this? Would you be okay with it, or would you contact customer support?

I am seeking additional opinions on a matter related to our recent fence installation. Upon inspecting the measurements, I suspect the fence might not be positioned exactly as planned. Rather than raising an unnecessary concern, I aim to ensure the issue is addressed promptly if it exceeds standard tolerances. In this situation, would you recommend verifying the fence's alignment with the property line before signing off on the project?

I drove by this house today and couldn't help but notice the travel trailer taking up almost the entire driveway.

It looks like it's being supported with leveling blocks, which made me wonder if this is a common setup for RV owners or just temporary while it's parked.

I don't own a camper, so I'm genuinely curious. Is this considered a normal way to park and level a travel trailer at home, especially on a sloped driveway?

If you lived next door, would something like this bother you, or would you see it as just another part of RV ownership?

I'd love to hear from people who own campers or have experience with them. 👇🏡🚐
