As the founder of The Hampton Grocer and the mom behind Lacnola, I want to share this update with you directly.
We are voluntarily recalling Lacnola, our lactation-support granola, because an ingredient used in the product was included in a supplier recall for possible Salmonella contamination.
The recalled ingredient is organic moringa powder supplied by Food to Live. At this time, neither Lacnola nor the specific moringa powder used to make it has tested positive for Salmonella. No illnesses have been reported in connection with Lacnola or the recalled Food to Live products.
We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution. As soon as we were notified, we stopped selling Lacnola across all platforms and pressed pause on the product.
The recall applies to all Lacnola sold or distributed since October 23, 2025.
No other products under The Hampton Grocer brand are affected.
I created Lacnola as a mom to support other moms during an incredibly important and vulnerable time. I understand how concerning this news may feel, and I take the trust you place in me and this product incredibly seriously. Your health and safety will always come first.
