Somewhere in Piedmont, in cellars the Vatican once approved, Contratto has been quietly winning since 1867 🇮🇹

The recipes haven't changed much since the 1920s. The cellars are UNESCO-listed, excavated entirely by hand. And the aperitivos they make from those original formulas are genuinely some of the most interesting bottles we carry.

We have three:

Contratto Bitter - 24 botanicals, Italian brandy, all natural color. What Campari wishes it still was.

Contratto Aperitif - Orange blossom, rhubarb, white stone fruit, marzipan, and a bitterness so well-calibrated it feels almost unfair. Double Gold at the 2023 SF World Spirits Competition.

Contrattino Aperitivo Italiano - 30 botanicals including Madagascar vanilla, elderflower, and blood orange. The one that makes your spritz taste like it actually came from somewhere worth knowing about.

Somewhere in the Icelandic wilderness, an artist went fishing and came home with a gin recipe instead 🦆🌿

This Thursday we’re pouring two expressions from Himbrimi at the tasting bar. Wild-harvested arctic botanicals, geothermal distillation, and bottles hand-numbered by the founder himself. The kind of story that makes the gin taste even better.

Himbrimi Winterbird London Dry Gin: Fresh citrus, wildflowers, arctic thyme, and a finish that just keeps going.

Himbrimi Old Tom Gin: Same wild botanicals, finished with mountain honey.

🇮🇹🥂 Somewhere in Italy, someone is already on their second glass. We're not about to fall behind...

Four Proseccos. Four very good reasons to call it an early Friday.

Tullia Brut Prosecco di Treviso DOC NV: Drier and a touch more refined than your average Prosecco. Green apple, white pear, a fine persistent mousse. The one for people who want their bubbles to feel a little more considered.

Ca' del Doge Prosecco DOC NV: The classic. Crisp, clean, pear and green apple with just enough acidity to keep it lively from first pour to last sip. The one that disappears fastest at a table.

Botter Prosecco di Maria Spumante DOC: Soft, fruit-forward, and endlessly easy. Stone fruit, a gentle spritz, and a finish that practically invites a second glass. Great on its own or built into a spritz.

Fasoli Gino La Corte del Pozzo Prosecco NV: Certified organic, hand-harvested, from a family winery in the Veneto farming sustainably since the 1980s. Jasmine, acacia, yellow apple, and a clean dry finish. The one with a story worth knowing.

August new arrivals just landed, and this batch is bringing the FUN!

☕️ Tanduay Boracay Cappuccino Rum - White rum from the Philippines, blended with creamy cappuccino flavor. Roasted coffee, vanilla cream, brown sugar, and fudge on the palate.

🥥 Tanduay Boracay Coconut Rum - Sweet coconut cream, vanilla, tropical fruit, and a smooth, lingering finish. Sip it over ice or build a Piña Colada that actually tastes like the beach.

❤️ Greenbar Craft Distillery Vodka - From LA’s first distillery since Prohibition and one of the first craft distilleries in the US. Organic wheat married with California pomegranate, clean and full-bodied with a velvety finish.

🍊 21 Seeds Tequila Valencia Orange - 100% agave blanco infused with real Valencia oranges from Veracruz. Fresh orange peel, vanilla cream, agave, and a semi-dry finish. Gold Medal at the 2021 Bartender Spirits Awards.
