The American Cheese Company was created in 2015 to export American artisanal cheese and products from the US so the rest of the world could experience the products. of Bath, England will begin importing American Originals Cheeses, an exclusive selection of American farmstead cheeses, to the European Union on April 27, 2017. This groundbreaking program will bring premier artisanal American cheeses

into broad distribution at the top echelon of British retailers – Selfridge’s, Harrod’s, and the flagship London Whole Foods – for the very first time. The selection will also be available for distribution to 20 different countries through The Fine Cheese Co. The initial American Originals range includes some of the most highly regarded American cheeses available: Pleasant Ridge Reserve from Uplands Cheese, a three-time Best of Show winner at the American Cheese Society Judging; Humboldt Fog from Cypress Grove, the quintessential goat cheese made in the United States; Rogue Creamery's Smokey Blue, the first smoked blue cheese made by the premier blue cheese maker in America; Green Hill and Thomasville Tomme from the renowned, multiple-award-winning Sweet Grass Dairy; and Appalachian and Grayson, two iconic, much-celebrated offerings from Meadow Creek Dairy. The partnership between the two companies began in 2014 when Raymond Hook Specialty first imported The Fine Cheese Co.’s elite range of British cheeses into the United States. WHO WE ARE: The American Cheese Company was founded in 2015 by cheese specialists Jason Donnelly and Raymond Hook. Mr. Donnelly draws upon his 20 years of experience in the restaurant, retail, wholesale, and cheese import/export sectors. Mr. Hook has 35 years of experience as a cheese producer, importer/exporter, journalist, distributor, and consultant.
