Amy's Sweet Spot - a Taste of Southern Decadence Bringing NOLA to NYC one Praline at a time...... Amy grew up in the heart of New Orleans. "I used to pick pecans from my Aunt Mae's pecan tree.

She spent most weekends with her Grandma Rachel and Aunt Addie Mae, who taught her the spirit and warmth of Southern hospitality—along with its most important lesson:

Food and music are the two things that bring people together. Then we would go to my grandma's house around the corner and make pralines and pecan pie, which we'd later bring to the choir members at our church," recalls Amy

Thirty

years later, those memories are the drive behind Amy's passion, and the catalyst to create her own brand of Southern Decadence. In June 2012, Amy, now living in New York City, launched Amy's Sweet Spot with her grandmother's recipe for Southern Decadent Pralines. Beginning this winter, she will debut her Aunt Addie Mae's fig preserves. In 2013, she will expand her online store to encompass other specialty food items from New Orleans, as well as support local independent artists by hosting their music online.
