The evening features a 4-course prix-fixe menu built around Thailand's prized Sang Yod and Khao Hom Mali rice varieties, featuring:

* Chef Verasak Sangsiri (Narkara) — bold, fermented, herb-forward cooking rooted in Northern and Isan tradition

* Chef Susan Bae, James Beard Award winner, North America's Best Pastry Chef 2025, and the visionary behind Moon Rabbit's boundary-pushing desserts, is preparing her bold, Southeast Asian-inspired pastry to Narkara’s kitchen.

* Thi Nguyen — Michelin Exceptional Cocktail Award recipient and co-founder of the DMV's first AAPI Cocktail Week — brings a bespoke beverage program of rice infusions and fermentations tuned to the complex heat and acidity of the region

This Thursday, Sisters Tysons and the Thai Trade Center New York are hosting an evening unlike anything on the Capital One Culinary Week lineup — a four-course journey through Thailand told entirely through heritage rices.

From crispy Sanpatong sticky rice crackers in the North to riceberry dumplings from the South, every course is a different region, a different grain, a different story.
