KCC Urban Farm High-production urban farm at Kingsborough Community College (between T1 and T2). Join us in growing fresh, healthy food, herbs, and flowers!

HOURS:
You are welcome to stop in and walk through the garden anytime the front gate is open, typically M-F from 9am-2pm. KCC URBAN FARM is a high-production, 12-month/year site. The Farm provides students with urban farming expertise and knowledge about building a more sustainable food system. This program emphasizes hands-on experience and practical knowledge, preparing students for expertise in the rapidly expanding local food economy. Adjacent to the farm, a new garden area is being put to use by faculty across disciplines for curricular and research projects. Our compost pile uses food scraps from the Culinary Arts Program. The Farm is also used for events, class trips, and more. The farm is located between T8 and T2. FAQ: http://cewdkbcc.com/current-programs/kcc-urban-farm/farm-faq/
