La duck 440ml 5%
I preferred this over all of the other Duck variants. This was more of a NEIPA than the NEIPA of Les Duck. So much more fruitiness.

perch rock 440ml 4.3%

A perfectly serviceable hazy pale ale. It pours a lovely soft yellow and is incredibly easy-drinking, with a mellow, smooth body that goes down too fast. The citrus and tropical fruit notes are there, but they’re too subtle. It needs a bigger hop punch to elevate it beyond 'nice and refreshing.'
The Verdict: It’s a clean, reliable, light-bodied session beer. Great value for a backyard pint, but not complex enough to seek out otherwise. It does the job, but it’s just missing that extra layer of flavour excitement.

.brewing hard truth 500ml 8%

A superb showcase for Nelson Sauvin hops. It's juicy, soft, and very thick, pouring with huge notes of white grape, gooseberry, and crushed fruit. It manages to be complex and dangerously easy-drinking for 8%. Just misses a 5th star as the fruit flavours a a little too low

"Still hits the spot after all these years"
"Is it the most complex craft ale in the world? No. But does it do exactly what it says on the tin? Absolutely.
Pouring this glass of 'Newkie Brown' was like stepping into a time machine. It has that classic sweet, nutty flavor profile—caramel, a bit of biscuit, and that smooth finish I remember so well. It’s incredibly easy drinking.
Honestly, the taste just takes me straight back to my youth, sitting on the park bench with my mates including having a laugh and putting the world to rights. It’s simple, reliable, and tastes like good memories. It might not be a fancy micro-brew, but it’s a legend for a reason."

blackbird 440ml 6.7%
This stout is a genuinely nice stout that hits all the typical notes for the style—dark, rich, and satisfyingly malty. It delivers on the classic characteristics you look for, with notes of roasted coffee and chocolate coming through beautifully.
What's most impressive, though, is how incredibly easy it is to drink. The 6.7% ABV is dangerously well-hidden, going down so smoothly that you could easily mistake it for something much lighter. It's a testament to the brewer's skill that such a robust beer is so approachable and goes down effortlessly. Highly recommended for a satisfying, surprisingly smooth experience.

rust 4.3%
Pig Beer's "Rust" Red Ale is a fantastic, reliable example of the classic Red Ale style. It offers the expected profile: a beautiful reddish-amber color, medium body, and a smooth, well-balanced malt backbone that makes it incredibly drinkable. The true standout, and what earns its four stars, is the nice caramel aftertaste. This warm, lingering sweetness provides a comforting and rewarding finish, making it highly recommended for anyone seeking a true-to-style Red Ale.

hazy vibes 3.8%

I was really pleasantly surprised by this. At 3.8%, I expected it to be a bit light on the palate, but it actually has excellent depth of flavour. You get all the tropical notes you want without the heavy alcohol hit. Really well balanced

new relic 440ml 5.6%

Average experience. While it pours well, the taste fell flat for me. The hop profile was quite weak, leaving it tasting a bit dull compared to other craft IPAs I've had recently. Lacked that punchy zest I was hoping for."

juicy in the sky 440ml 4.9%

I was surprised by how much I liked this one. It lives up to the 'Tropical Pale' label but has this distinct, fizzy sweetness that reminds me exactly of fruit sherbert. It's light (4.9%) and gluten-free, which is a bonus. Not overly bitter, just a nice, zesty fruity kick. distinctive and tasty."

hefeweizen 440ml 5.0%
I approached this banana hefeweizen hoping for the classic, refreshing experience—a hazy wheat body complemented by the signature clove and distinct, sometimes pronounced, banana notes (isoamyl acetate) that define the style. Unfortunately, this brew was a disappointment on that front.
It pours with the correct cloudiness and a respectable white head, and the initial wheaty texture is present. However, the aroma is muted, lacking the vibrant ester profile essential to a true Hefeweizen. Where there should be a clear scent of banana bread or ripe fruit, there is only a faint, generic sweetness.
