Cutie Patroller is always on the prowl in Downtown NYC for cute restaurants and great food (^_^) My focus is patrolling the downtown area (under 34th St.) but I'll sometimes cross the border for special restaurants that I need to report on in the Uptown area or across the bridge in Brooklyn. Though this Patroller does enjoy the occasional large and trendy hotspot. I am more interes

ted in special, cute, intimate, or casual local spots that serve great food in eclectic downtown. I'm dishing up reviews and pictures from a skinny pig's point of view, and will be commenting on yummy food, places that are best to dine in - whether as couples or with big groups, and much more! Cutie Patroller's heart rating is graded in 4 categories - Food, Atmosphere, Price, and Total heart points. Lots of hearts show how cute or great the food is, and if it's reasonably priced or not. Please note that the total heart points is most important overall. Cutie Patroller (Cutie Room) has been a part of the downtown NYC fashion scene for over 10 years and is originally from that little island that seems to make everything cute and adorable - Japan (^_^). I love to share my passion for home cooking ( you would be amazed at what you can cook in teeny NYC kitchens) and entertaining. The pictures in the home cooking section are what I cook in both my LES apt kitchen & family house in Japan. My cooking is easy, fast and healthy (sometimes city girls rarely have the time to cook after a long day. Most of the appetizers and entrees I cook, take less than an hour (the few dishes which do take over an hour to cook, I pour a glass of wine or two, OH wait..make it three glasses! My specialty is of coarse Japanese home cooking.
