Gourmet Attitude, importer/distributor of truffles, opened its doors in New York City in 2003. Our fresh truffles come straight from the growers in Europe and are swiftly hand-delivered or shipped to our clients throughout the United States. Gourmet Attitude also offers a full line of flash frozen truffles and preserved truffle products from France and Italy. As we share high standards with our customers, we constantly seek to source the highest quality truffles. How well do you know your Burgundy Truffles (Tuber Uncinatum)? 🍄‍🟫🍂

In season now through December, Burgundy Truffles belong to the same species as Summer Truffles (Tuber Aestivum). Black on the outside and brown within, their flesh becomes darker and more aromatic as the season progresses.

They’re also one of the more durable truffles and can keep in the fridge for up to about one week. That said, we always recommend enjoying them as fresh as possible for the best aroma and flavor! 😋

How to keep your truffle fresh🍄‍🟫✨

Fresh truffles are all about moisture control🌧️🎚️

1️⃣ Wrap it
Gently wrap your truffle in a dry paper towel to absorb excess moisture.

2️⃣ Change it daily
Swap the paper towel every day to keep moisture from building up.

3️⃣ Prep before serving
Right before enjoying, and if needed, cover the truffles with a slightly damp paper towel to restore its texture.
