This Mother’s Day we toast Nadia & Carla Zenato 🍷 At Zenato female leadership is generational, with more to come. Carla founded the winery with her husband Sergio in 1960, and today this mother-daughter duo works closely together. Last weekend in London the WSET welcomed over 700 students from 45 countries to their graduation. For the third year in a row Dr. Laura Catena handed out Diplomas, and she also continues as Honorary Chair of the organization. We congratulate everyone on their achievement as the curriculum is challenging, and completing these programs raises the professionalism of our industry. We also toast the WSET and Dr. Laura Catena for their ongoing commitment to Wine & Spirits education.

Fish goes on to explain that with her family name, they helped to establish Willamette Valley for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In 2025, she celebrated her 38th vintage at DOMAINE DROUHIN OREGON (DDO) and is making world-class wines.
