This week, our staff had the incredible opportunity to learn from Graciela Ángeles Carreño and Ximena Ángeles of Real Minero, and Miriam Pacheco of Uruapan Charanda.
Real Minero is a leader in traditional mezcal, carrying forward the clay-pot distilling heritage of Santa Catarina Minas, producing agave spirits of remarkable texture, depth, and sense of place.
Uruapan Charanda represents Michoacán’s protected charanda tradition, a sugarcane spirit shaped by local raw materials, volcanic red soils, and more than a century of Pacheco family history.
Stop by and explore these remarkable expressions of Mexican distilling tradition for yourself.
