CàPhê Đen is one of my favorite cafes in flushing, queens! they offer vietnamese coffee, matcha, and other drinks. one on my favorite drinks is their banana cream coffee. you can even get a cute image on top for $1 more so we got gengar and gudetama. the coffee is creamy, savory yet sweet, and highly caffeinated which we love 😅 highly recommend their cream coffees and lattes!

i love the hyrax!!! these cute babies were at the galada reserve in the bronx zoo Bronx Zoo. i had no idea there were hyraxes in nyc!! seeing them made me happier than a bird with a french fry. my life is now complete :) AWAWA!!

📍pupuseria izalco has a special place in my heart. they serve authentic Salvadoran food in a no frills, cozy location in woodside, queens. we have been coming here for years and each visit we are left in awe at how delicious everything is. this time around we ordered a desayuno 2 and a mini picada. the desayuno or breakfast comes with pork sausages, two sunny side up eggs, a mix of rice and refried beans, sweet plantain, cheese, sour cream, and a choice of toasted bread or corn tortilla. the small picada comes with steak, chicken, fries, cheese, green fried plantain, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, and pickled red onion. both were fireeeee 1000000/10 would recommend!

trying the viral 2 ingredient ice cream with mango 🥭 i used watermelon last time and i had a mango in my fridge so i thought why not?! this was heavy cream plus a frozen mango. i let the fruit thaw out a bit prior to mixing it together and it was sooo much easier to scrape the fruit and mix it into ice cream consistency. what other fruit should i try next?

trying the viral 2 ingredient ice cream 🍉 i used watermelon this time around but i definitely wanna try it with pineapple and other fruit. this was just heavy cream + frozen watermelon. next time i will let it thaw out a bit more prior to mixing it together, that way the frozen fruit gets scraped out easily.

Dinner at NUBIANI | Korean BBQ Restaurant was perfection as always. We ordered the ribeye, pork belly, skirt steak, and short rib with soybean paste stew. I love all the side dishes they provide which include steamed egg, scallion salad, and braised kimchi. We loved the soybean paste stew as well, so flavorful and just the right amount of spice. Oh and cant forget to mention the yuzu soft serve! I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely a must try if you’re ever in Koreatown, NYC!!

This is Lechoneria New York in Maspeth, Queens 🇨🇴 They serve authentic Colombian food in a cozy environment. We tried their bandeja paisa, Colombian hotdog, mini picada, lemonade, and soursop milkshake. I loved the morcilla in the mini picada. The steak and chicharrón were also fire. I can’t wait to be back for their other dishes. 10/10 would recommend!

the most stunning rice bowls 🍚 this gem is Tomoni in woodside, queens. they offer japanese dishes and cocktails in a cozy environment. we ordered the salmon donburi which comes with salmon, aburi salmon, ikura, and a raw egg yolk (pasteurized) on top. the fish was sooo fresh and the sushi rice was perfectly cooked. i cannot wait to come back! so happy to have this restaurant in woodside

Watch as I almost break my back as I hold this massive torta from Tortas Neza in Woodside, Queens 😂 But to be fair, I have a back injury and I was in a weird position to make sure we had the best lighting LOL Can’t wait to go back to Tortas Neza. This was their Torta Toros Neza which comes with chorizo, steak, and cheese. All their tortas also come with lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayo, beans, and jalapeños. This torta was $19 and it was HUMONGOUS!
