Families are waiting for loved ones.
Communities have lost homes and livelihoods.
Rescue teams are working through incredibly difficult conditions to reach those in need.
For our Nepali community in Queens and beyond, this tragedy is deeply personal.

The disaster along the Nepal–Tibet border has caused devastating destruction, with homes, roads and bridges damaged or swept away and many people still missing. Rescue and recovery efforts continue.
