Great foodservice design starts with understanding the food.

At Heritage Grand Bakery Restaurant & Pizza Bar near Bryant Park, Davella Studios was proud to share our own chef heritage to help bring this concept to life.

Heritage built upon its adjacent Heritage Grand Bakery, using ancient and heritage grains sourced from France, Belgium, and New York to create wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and breads rooted in ancestral techniques.

A menu like this requires a foodservice environment designed specifically around it. We took the needs of the operation and created spaces responsive to the food—the way it is produced, handled, prepared, fired, finished, and ultimately served.

Our background as professional chefs and restaurateurs is at the heart of the Davella approach. We don’t just design kitchens. We design the operational environments that allow a culinary vision to become an extraordinary hospitality experience.

We’re proud to have played a role in bringing Heritage to the table.

At Heritage Grand Restaurant & Pizza Bar near Bryant Park, Davella Studios was proud to share our own chef heritage to help bring this concept to life.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant builds upon the work of its adjacent Heritage Grand Bakery, using ancient and heritage grains sourced from France, Belgium, and New York to create wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and breads rooted in ancestral techniques.

This menu and its specialized cooking techniques required foodservice areas designed specifically around the operation. We created a restaurant environment responsive to the food, the way it is produced, handled, prepared, fired, finished, and ultimately served.

Our background as professional chefs and restaurateurs is at the heart of Davella's approach. We not only design kitchens, we design the operational environments that allow a culinary vision to become an extraordinary hospitality experience.

With seating for 120 guests plus a 60-seat private dining room, Heritage brings together craft, culinary tradition, and contemporary New York dining just steps from Bryant Park.

We're proud to have played a role in bringing it to the table.

We're excited to celebrate the opening of Success Academy's new Bronx K–12 Campus!

Davella Studios was proud to partner as the Foodservice Design and Hospitality Consultant with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Success Academy Charter Schools, and the culinary operations team to develop a foodservice program and design around the needs of the students, educators, and staff who will use it every day.

Our work brought together foodservice design, operational planning, and programming - from kitchen operations to menus, equipment, staffing, service styles, and the overall dining experience, creating an thoughtful environment for students and staff every day.

We're proud to have partnered with the entire project team to help bring Success Academy's vision to life, and to see this incredible campus open its doors.

When Squarespace began exploring workplace foodservice, the question was what kind of hospitality experience would best support its employees and culture.

With no existing foodservice operations beyond coffee pantries, Davella Studios was brought in to evaluate options and develop a strategy that reflected how employees work, gather, and connect throughout the day.

Following an extensive programming process, the team designed a flexible hospitality experience featuring daily breakfast and lunch buffets, hidden heated counters seamlessly integrated into the architecture, a central beverage bar that supports both daytime service and evening events, and pantry spaces throughout the workplace stocked with premium beverages and snacks.

The result is a foodservice program designed around people, culture, and experience.

At Davella Studios, was honored to be part of this project. For more information on this project, visit our website: https://www.davellastudios.com/portfolio/squarespace

Great connecting at the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in Chicago this weekend with our clients from Jane Street.

Trade shows are always a reminder that this industry is a small world and that the best partnerships happen when you get out from behind the screen and spend time together in person. It was great catching up, talking about the industry, and seeing so much innovation happening across hospitality.

We're excited for what’s ahead and always grateful for the relationships that continue to grow through our work.
