🍗🧀 Easy Chicken Parmesan Stuffed Shells 🍝
These cheesy Chicken Parmesan Stuffed Shells are filled with tender chicken, creamy ricotta, and melty mozzarella, then baked in a rich marinara sauce for an easy, comforting family dinner.
Ingredients
* 20 jumbo pasta shells
* 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
* 1 cup ricotta cheese
* 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
* ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
* 1 large egg
* 2 cups marinara sauce
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* ½ teaspoon onion powder
* Salt and black pepper, to taste
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or basil (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to **375°F (190°C)** and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water to stop the cooking.
3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, ricotta, 1 cup of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
4. Spread about 1 cup of marinara sauce over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
5. Fill each cooked shell with the chicken mixture and arrange them in a single layer in the baking dish.
6. Spoon the remaining marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle with the remaining ½ cup mozzarella cheese.
7. Cover with foil and bake for **25 minutes**. Remove the foil and bake for an additional **10–15 minutes**, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
8. Let the shells rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and extra grated Parmesan, if desired.
**Serving Ideas:** Pair with garlic bread, a crisp Caesar salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
